Wroclaw: Party capital of Poland

Wroclaw: Party capital of Poland

My name is Karolina and I have recently moved to the largest city in western Poland, Wroclaw. Earlier I was based out of Warsaw which being the capital of Poland is one of the busiest and happening cities for obvious reasons.

When I moved to Wroclaw, one of the first things I wanted to explore was the nightlife here. As dancing is my passion, especially Latin dance; I wanted to find out the best dancing clubs here to beat the alienated feeling inside me due to the change of city. To my utter surprise, the city never lets me feel alienated even in the early days there and it has a lot to offer in terms of entertainment. Coming back to nightlife, that is definitely concentrated mainly at Rynek (town square) where there are many dance clubs with regular club music. However, I find one quite an exception which is Casa de la Musica that offers traditional Latin Music every day; often live performances. The ambiance of this place is so lively that it truly leaves one with a feeling as if you are sitting and enjoying the music in some Latin country only.

In Wroclaw, dance and music lovers can get their deal all week long in ‘kick up your heels and let down your hair’ atmosphere. Every day there are different pubs and clubs that organize cheerful evenings with different dance forms like Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba etc. so that people can practice their dances with having fun at the same time throughout the week.  Truly, the city is the party capital of Poland.

Night life

Wroclaw has many old, heritage buildings that have survived the atrocities of World Wars and still standing tall and high. Many of the clubs are located in these old buildings in which one can have an amazing time while dancing in those clubs and at the same time can also experience the cozy ambiance these resilient old buildings have to offer.

For food lovers too, the city has a lot to offer. You can enjoy traditional Polish delicacies, as well as the wide range of starters and drinks and I, bet you won’t be disappointed. There are many restaurants and pubs with outdoor seating arrangement so that people could enjoy their meals in the company of beautiful natural surroundings.  If you want to enjoy some food and drinks with music while chilling on the sand then you can visit some joints located near river Odra. To name a few, Odrapany and Zazoo bar are great places to explore the other side of the city.

Wroclaw, the city defined by the huge sprawling river Odra with its numerous tributaries and canals brings so much of life and beauty to its people and tourists alike.

If you plan to visit Wroclaw and like to hear some good Latin music then I would love to show you around this beautiful city so that you can make the most of it.
