My name is Daniela Moisei. I have been living in the beautiful city of Prague already one year. I moved here from my hometown last year and fell in love with the city immediately. No doubt this city is called the “The Golden City,” “The City of Fairy Tales,” and “The Heart of Europe”.
Located along the Vltava River this city steeped in history. Prague is the perfect place to visit for anyone who’s interested in history, culture or beauty. It is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe, with a variety of architecture and charm that makes every street pleasant to walk down. Prague is home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad.
The two sides of the city are held together by the bridges over the Vltava River. One of these bridges is the Charles Bridge. This bridge built in the 14th and 15th centuries is one of the things that tourists flock to the most in the city.
One of the most important things to visit is Prague Castle, which is 570 meters long and 130 meters wide and is one of the most important castles in world history.
The famous Astronomical Clock is a clock that dates back to the Middle Ages. The clock face shows the 12 time zones as well as the 12 signs of the Zodiac.
Prague has associated Franz Kafka… the city gave birth to one of the most famous writers in the world! The heart of the city. His traces are all over the city, who better to tell the story of the city than the writer who spent his whole life there?
I believe that every city offers visitors a different kind of magic, and Prague’s magical ambiance, romanticism, and charm will certainly surprise you.
I welcome you all to visit my city – the golden city and I will be happy to show you around.
